BankOnUSA.org is an independent financial-access and financial-wellness resource stewarded by Bill Mills. It is not affiliated with, operated by, or endorsed by the Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund, the official Bank On initiative, or the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Historical participation in an initiative does not imply current endorsement.

When you send an inquiry

We collect the name, email address, organization (if provided), topic, message, and consent information you submit. We use it to review and respond to your inquiry and manage a potential partnership. Please do not submit account numbers, government identification numbers, credentials, or other sensitive financial information.

Netlify hosts this website and processes and stores form submissions on our behalf. Inquiry details may also be delivered to the site operator through email notifications. Hosting and spam-prevention services may process technical information such as IP addresses and request details. See Netlify’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab or window) for its practices.

Sponsor setup and billing

The sponsor setup form collects the business contacts, website, sponsorship interest, agreement reference, proposed public materials and billing coordination details you choose to submit. Netlify processes and stores these submissions, and they may be sent to the operator by email. We use them to coordinate the proposed sponsorship. Public recognition is reviewed before publication; billing contacts and instructions are not published.

We do not collect payment details through this website. If billing is arranged through Stripe, it processes the invoice and payment details under its own privacy policy (opens in a new tab or window). Submitting either form does not authorize a charge or recurring payment.

How we use and share information

We do not sell inquiry information or provide it to sponsors for marketing. We use service providers for hosting, form processing, and communications. We may disclose information when required by law. An inquiry does not sign you up for a newsletter.

Cookies and measurement

This site does not use advertising pixels or a third-party marketing analytics script. Our hosting provider may maintain operational and security logs. Other websites linked here have their own privacy and cookie practices.

Interactive tools

The account guide and the payday and monthly money planners work in your browser. Answers, labels, dates, amounts and checklist selections are not submitted to us, placed in links, or stored by site code. Your browser may temporarily retain form contents; use the relevant clear button when finished on a shared device. If you copy, print or save a plan, that copy is under your control. We do not receive it. Only the separate contact and sponsor setup forms submit information to us.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted by using our contact form and selecting “Privacy request.” We may need to verify the request and retain information where needed for active business records or legal obligations.

Sponsorship and editorial independence

BankOnUSA.org offers paid sponsorship opportunities to help support this resource. Any paid sponsor placement will be labeled. Sponsorship does not buy editorial control, a favorable account ranking, or Bank On certification. Sponsorships are agreements with this independent site, not with the CFE Fund or Treasury. The external resource links currently provided are not paid affiliate links.

Educational information and external resources

We provide general educational information and links, not personalized financial advice, account applications, or a guarantee of eligibility. Account terms, fees, and availability are determined by financial institutions. Check current information with the provider before making a decision. External websites are independently operated, and their content and privacy practices are outside our control.
